I should have read the freakin' manual(n1) :-P

Here is the URL for GROUP_PTF_CURRENCY:
http://www-912.ibm.com/s_dir/sline003.nsf/PSPbyNumL.xml

- n1 http://bit.ly/developerWorks-GROUP_PTF_CURRENCY

Some more digging found this URL:
http://www-912.ibm.com/s_dir/sline003.nsf/xmlDocs/SF99572 Simply replace
the last portion with the PTF group name.

I will ask IBM if they have a URL with a full list of PTFs, regardless of
whether they are in a group.

Question 1: Does IBM offer a public web service that conveys PTF's?
Answer: IDK. I do know they have a public web service that conveys group
PTF's. That is what is consumed by SQL's "IBM i Service",
QSYS2.GROUP_PTF_INFO as shown in the Knowledge Center.
You are much more web savvy than I am. Is there some (wsdl?) that list
web services available?

Subject: Learning about PTFs for things you care about

How do others keep up with knowing when PTFs come out for things they care
about? For example, I now use this link (n1) (thanks Rob) to review PTFs
but I'd much prefer to have a notification sent to my inbox whenever PTFs
for 5733OPS, 5770SS1 opt 33, 5733SC1 are released.

n1 - http://www-912.ibm.com/a_dir/as4ptf.nsf/WWWPTFBYDATE?OpenView

What I would love is if IBM offered a public web service that conveyed
PTFs. Then I could do an If-This-Then-That (ifttt.com). Is such an IBM
web service available?

Thanks,
