.. you can't join two tables on diffrent servers via DRDA. You would have to replicate some tables, so you would have them at the same server (MS SQL Server does thsi for linked server by the fly - slow sort of fly). From the performance perspective the fastest would be load/unload and transport as zipped streamfiles, followed by running multiple Jobs in parallel transferring single lightweight transactions, slowest would be select into with three part alias.
