At issue is your using interface Eth0 at address 1.2.3.4. Now you change
the address on the FSP to 2.3.4.5. Think about how the communications will
react.

While it might work, more likely you'll have a typo and completely hose the
connection. Better to connect to the ASMI with a laptop on Port 2 and set
Port 1s address with it. Then connect the HMC. Once it's all happy and
working disconnect port 2 and move to the next FSP.
