Sounds like he is adding an SPF record for your domain so you should be
good.

If your i is set up to use a mail server/router that has an SPF record
(which is what it sounds like) you should be good.

You can verify using CHGSMTPA and look at the Mail Router (and the
Forwarding Mail Hub Server) parms to make sure the correct mail router is
listed. Also make sure Firewall is set to *YES.
