Thomas,
As a follow up to this, I did a quick search to see if there was a grammar
processor for RPG in one of the most popular grammar tools out there called
ANTLR - http://www.antlr.org/ and there doesn't seem to be any.
There is a grammar processor for nearly every other language except for
RPG, not surprising to me though as it seems pretty rare to find RPG around
these days.
Complete list of ANTLR grammar's supported:
http://www.antlr3.org/grammar/list.html
There are a few references of people attempting it, but so far no
conclusive proof anyone has created one unfortunately :(
Someone inquiring on the possibility:

Thomas,
I read the full article here:
http://onlinepresent.org/proceedings/vol29_2013/54.pdf
He is just stating an example of how one would convert an example RPG
program to GraphViz's DOT notation.
There is no proof he actually created RPG lexical processing program that
actually does this. Atleast the article doesn't give any indication other
than the one very specific example in the paper.
Grade F until I can see the code that actually parses RPG into DOT
notation.

Has anyone seen this paper? Done by what looks like a student in Thailand
and an instructor. I am a bit lost on what exactly should be downloaded
from www.eclipse.org/kepler/
that is then fed into GRAPHVIZ produce.
www.graphviz.org/documentation.php
I am lost on how exactly what or what exactly out of ECLIPSE is used to
take the original RPG source to generate a DOT markup language file that
then appears to be fed into the GRAPHVIZ product for program flowcharts
that is much better than gets generated in HAWKEYE.
