The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
Well many of the change management tools do a fine job of project
requests, tracking them through, copying source and what not down into
development, sending it up to test, and flowing it through to production
and even distributing it to multiple production systems. You want to make
sure they'll work for you now and into the future. Some of them are
milking their product like a cash cow and lag months behind GA date of any
new version of the OS before they are ready for it. I've actually changed
vendors because of this.
Another item that I've not used but would be useful is testing scripts.
(Please don't call me peddling your product, I've no time to look at this
and will politely refuse your call and hang up if you're persistent.)
Trying to do thorough testing in an environment with web, client and 5250
I/O can be a challenge. And to do the thoroughness and volume testing to
really QA it can be a challenge.
