I have discovered that the export data function of the fat client iNav and
the port 2001 thingy both use CPYTOIMPF under the covers. It shows you a
pseudo select screen and allows you to customize it. For example I did
some CASTing on the screen because it has an issue (like CPYTOIMPF does)
with CLOB's etc.
Your pseudo select gets changed into a view, and the cpytoimpf runs off of
this view.

Right before you click the run button there's a Show Command button. As
shown by:

/* Creating view to subset the data */
CREATE VIEW QTEMP.CLUST00001 AS (SELECT
CLUSTERDEPID,
CLUSTERNAME,
CLUSTERTYPE,
PRODUCTTYPE,
CELLNAME,
cast (NODELIST as char(128)) as nodelistchar,
cast (CLUSTERMEMBER as char(128)) as clustermemberchar,
cast (CLUSTERCONFIG as char(128)) as clusterconfigchar,
CLUSTERSTATUS,
DMDEPID,
CLUSTERVERSION,
GEOID
FROM SSC.CLUSTERDEPLOYMENT);

/* Exporting data from SSC.CLUSTERDEPLOYMENT */
CL:CPYTOIMPF FROMFILE(QTEMP/CLUST00001)
