I don't know about exclusive. Member companies (around 100, the site says) do pay dues - $3000 a year these days. This isn't going to be feasible for smaller companies.

There is another advisory through COMMON, and they sometimes have openings, too. The focus of the CAAC - COMMON America Advisory Council is on the needs and interests of small and medium size businesses. There is a time commitment that one's employer has to be OK with, including a couple face-to-face meetings annually.

IBM really do listen to both of these groups, as well as the ISV Advisory Council and CEAC, the European one.

So if a person is interested, they can go to the volunteer page at the COMMON web site for more information.
