Rob,

Your situation may be very different from someone in Asia, South American, Africa, etc. IBM has made it as easy as it can to be sure you get everything that should come down with a group that is needed in 90% of the cases. The downside to that is you may order more than you ( in your shop ) really need, but the guy in the Czech Republic's needs might be very different nor may he have the same level of knowledge you do.

So, do I need to submit a DCR that if I order the cume and all groups on
one single order that IBM not double stack them? Why can't IBM just
figure that out?

MY current i 7.1 PTF stack is 20G smaller and that includes the Web Query group and the most current DB and HIPER even though they are part of the CUME. Remember that several groups include other groups for example the HTTP group includes the JAVA group so no need to order them both. I do ALWAYS include all requisites and all PTFs because I can't assume any customer would be at any minimum level. Personally I download them with FTP scripts to Frankie and haven't had a real problem with that in years. Send and forget. OK except for all the times that Fix Central is down for maintenance, MAN they do a lot of maintenance! - Larry "DrFranken" Bolhuis www.frankeni.com www.iDevCloud.com www.iInTheCloud.com On 5/30/2013 9:20 AM, rob@xxxxxxxxx wrote:
