Jon,

I am fully aware that it is long past time for this operating system to retire. You may
not have ever been in a position that you can't stay current with the latest and
greatest. I have been fighting for years to get up-to-date. It takes money and time. I
did finally get the company to purchase a new 520 in 2006. The box has been sitting
hear un-plugged doing nothing because of priorities. I haven't had success so far in
getting the conversion to the top of the priority list. I also haven't had IBM's support
in doing the conversion even though we are paying software support for the 520.

I am hoping in the not too distant future I will get the time to upgrade the old box to
V5r1 so that I can get it converted to the new box. Then I can do all the upgrades to
get it current.

This program has been running for years with no problem. There have been no PTF's.
No program changes. I don't understand what could possibly be causing this. Just as a
precaution I ran RCLSTG. It found two files that it deleted.
I re-ran the test. It still failed. This is running on V4r4

There's the answer right there "V4r4" ! It is desperately trying to tell you that it is long past time for its operating system to retire.

Sorry - couldn't resist.
