The web site author gets to pick what is supported, in this case IBM.

My frustration is with the FireFox group not IBM.

If we were to take that position about Firefox or any of the leading browsers (I.E., Firefox, Safari, Chrome, Opera) our customers would give us a good scoffing. Maybe IBM can get away with it. We couldn't.
