For straightforward inline (sub)totals,
You could define groupingsets / rollup?

SELECT LGSESN, LGDATE, count(*) FROM anloga WHERE LGSESN NOT LIKE
'%ARCHIVE%'
group by rollup(LGSESN, LGDATE)
order by LGSESN,LGDATE desc



SELECT LGSESN, LGDATE, count(*) FROM anloga WHERE LGSESN NOT LIKE
'%ARCHIVE%'
group by rollup((LGSESN, LGDATE))
order by LGSESN,LGDATE desc
