You may need to specify the username in the form domain\username, using the
domain specified in the NetServer setup. There was a thread about that in
here not long ago.

I have a shared folder (it's been shared for years) on the ifs. It's /tmp.

I have another Win7 box that has a mapped drive mapped to it and it's
working fine.

I have a new Win7 box that I need to map to the same shared folder. I
went into
mapping drives, I selected the drive to map, I browsed the i5, I selected
the folder.
It's asking for a user and a password. For any valid user on the i5 with
the correct
password it says Access is denied.

If I go on the i5 and do a wrklnk , 9 to work with authority it shows:
*public *RWX
QSYS *RWX
NATALIE *RWX

One of the many users I have tried is Natalie.

What user does it want?

Thanks,

Gary Kuznitz
