FWiW: If what was being replied to had been included in the message
before the dash-dash-space then anyone reading the archive might
actually have a clue. And if the first message in the thread had not
included the "Re:" then further confusion could be avoided about the
apparently missing the opening post in the archive.... which the above
quoted message seems to be in response to. How confusing is that?:
