RE: COMMON Virtual Conference



Can't say for sure. Even when I was on the board (eons ago) admin never let
me in on their processes. HOWECER, my guess is that "Yes" you will receive
emails. People here have questioned (complained?) that Pete's message was
the first they heard about the conference; well, if COMMON had your email
(contact info) then you will be informed.

As for the value of COMMON (ex-board member part aside), like Dan I pay my
$140 for an individual membership. I haven't been able to attend a
conference in years, but I consider it an investment (but, then, I lost [and
gained] on the stock market last year, too). As a conglomerate IBM does
*not* listen to me (or you) - but it listens to COMMON as well as other
entities. I write my congressman (frequently) but who has more influence:
me or some lobbyist? Get real!
