Its shelfware at our organization. Creating just a basic model while the folks from Rochester DB2 Web Query team were here bombed the product out and we couldn't ever get past first base with it.

There are a lot of other great reporting tools out there that are more "universal" than DB2 web query which is helpful in shops who don't run 100% IBM i applications but have databases in other platforms (MS SQL, Oracle, etc).

The web interface for design and everything else was obviously sluggish and left a lot to be desired from a usability standpoint. That's why in other reporting / BI products you will see they usually have a "thick" client that runs native on the PC.

I watched only a short portion of this video of DB2 Web Query having a JD Edwards connector now.
We installed DB2 Web Query last month during our upgrade to V7R1 on
POWER7 but I have not made time to research or configure it.
