I tried a simple search
EXESQL REQUEST('select iid,iprod from iiml01 where iprod=''(1) V''')
where I knew the part number had iid set to be omitted in iiml01. I tried
this search on a couple of lpars with no IGNORE_DERIVED_INDEX entries in
their QUSRSYS/QAQQINI. It did not retrieve the item. A query against the
PF did.

Can you post the results of
WRKPTFGRP PTFGRPLVL(*INSTALLED)
