The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

The operative phrase here is: "are not allowed in interactive SQL,
dynamic SQL, or when using the RUNSQLSTM command." Well, I am not using
either RUNSQLSTM or Interactive SQL. But how can I tell if the IVR is
running "dynamic SQL" through the ODBC driver?
What I would like to do is test this in SQuirreL and see if I can
recreate it so that I can submit an APAR to IBM (if it is broke) but I
don't know how to construct a similar scenario
It also appears that it doesn't like this syntax either: INSERT INTO
PASA802 VALUES(? , ? , ' ' , 0)
Gonna try the latest DB group and then see if I can figure out how
determine whether the IVR is using "dynamic SQL" (maybe DBMON can detect
it) . The weird thing is that most of these statements are very
similar, all executed by the same driver in the same manner so why just
a few would choke it is a bit of a mystery...
