Subject: When does a change to the TCP host table take effect?
I need to modify my host table to:
1) revise an existing entry by changing two host name values
associated this IP address to two new values and;
2 ) add an entry for a new ip address and assign the two original host names previously used in step one to this new ip address.
When does the change take effect? Will I need to bounce TCP ?
