Ok, if you're absolutely sure you've got the library right with your
NTCOLL_, then the problem may be casting. If that type that's being
passed isn't exactly the right format then you'll get that error. For
example, SQL supports overloading so you could have that same function
name in the same library multiple times, just with different variable
types: int, dec, char, etc. If it doesn't find one with the size you're
looking for it will blow up.

Another workaround is to define a view on your i that has that function
built into it.
create claimsview as
select
QS36F.CLAIMS.CLIENT_NUMBER,NTCOLL.ISPRIME(QS36F.CLAIMS.CLIENT_NUMBER)
FROM QS36F.CLAIMS
