Sorry for the late response, been out of town.

I just completed the same exercise for a small subset of our systems that are
behind firewalls. BRMS Network will need ICMP, DRDA (446), and DDM (447, 448).
In the interest of full disclosure I haven't been able to do an end-to-end test
yet, but this should do the trick.We initially limited our FW rules to DRDA and
DDM but later discovered ICMP was also a necessity. I have asked IBM to publish
a technical document that explains this scenario.
