You might try RTVDIRINF if you want the entire IFS.

Or if you only want a count of the IFS files(probably not overly
cientific) you can use RTVDSKINF then
n SQL
select count(*) from qusrsys/qaezdisk where DIOBTP = 'STMF'
nd for directories
elect count(*) from qusrsys/qaezdisk where DIOBTP = 'DIR'
