Overlapping private addresses and DHCP...

Would that be like me pinging a pc in my office (say GDL61) and getting an
address and success and figuring it must be up. Then trying dameware only
to get a nice warning that the address is in use by GDL119 now? I figure
that DHCP gave the address to GDL61, PC got turned off. DNS remembered
this last known address. DHCP reused the address for GDL119. And so when
I ping either computer I get the same address (until GDL61 comes active
again and gets a new address).

I really appreciate the warning from Dameware! Be a real oopsie to take
control of the PC being used for that executive briefing.

Glad that DSPDEVD and the associated API do not display the IP address if
the session is no longer active. While it would be nice to know where it
was last used it could cause you grief in a DHCP environment.
