I would use QUSLOBJ along with QCLRPGMI. QCLRPGMI's format PGMI0100 has
that information in position 398.

Let us know if you need help getting started. The weekend's coming up and
some of us may be looking for excuses to not to do those fall chores... :)

I need to write my own ANZOBJCVN for a system running V5R1. A Simple
DSPOBJD to an outfile isn't giving me the Observable bit. I was hoping
to
be able to do a DSPPGM to an outfile but I can only display or print.
Is
there a simpler way than printing the DSPPGM output, copying it to a PF
and
reading the file for the line(s) I need?

Many many program objects have V2 and V3 compile so I can't rely on
compiler
version either
