As I see it, most of the software OEMs have gotten to V6 at least and will be at a certified V7 soon. The larger more prevalent problem is customers that cannot move the version of software that is compliant either because they dropped software maintenance, (a significant percentage) or the project to upgrade is so large is has a very small or no ROI on it so management puts off the work for other more profitable projects. The curse of modified vendor software raises its ugly head again.
