Aaron,
The existence of snmp in the services list would lead me to try
setting up the printer as a *LAN 3812 SNMP Device Description.
Follow these directions:
http://www-912.ibm.com/s_dir/slkbase.NSF/0/87a5b328400bbd37862569030070431d
One issue is what port# to use..this document (found by following
appropriate links in the above)
http://www-912.ibm.com/s_dir/slkbase.NSF/0/94e73364f979e388862569030071c398
Says to use PORT(9100) and has the following, "Note: According to
information found on zebra.com, *LAN 3812 SNMP device descriptions
should work with Zebra thermal printers that use the ZPL or ZPL II
printer language when the printer is connected to the LAN using a
ZebraNet 10/100 print server with the latest firmware."
Good luck!

Mmmm. Not bad cost either. Looks like around $400.00.
The honkers I have dealt with were 8-10k.
That's because Zebra has everything - from industrial label printers
that have to print 10'000 labels a day, to desktop printers like the
GK420t that are only meant for 100 labels a day.
Luckily, with ZPLII and EPLII, using them is quite easy, as the
language is the same.
