Yes, it drives me nuts... that IBM hasn't provided a fully function 64bit
client. IT's acobbled mess of 32 and 64bit code. I have resigned myself that
64bit ( at least in the MS World ) is not ready for primetime. I'vce had
pretty good success LPARing my Windows 7 with 2 guest copies of XP. This is
where I install/run apps that can handle 64bit. MS should have learned from
IBM and the CISC to RISC conversions from over 10 years ago... We changed
Processor Technology and went from 48bit to 64bit and most code converted
'automagically' to fully functioning 64bit apps...

I would have thought the 7.1 code would have been fullt 64bit...

IBM has noted this:

Allow me to summarize: You cannot drag and drop to 64 bit version of
Windows with IBM i (System i (iSeries)) Access. Various workarounds are
suggested.

Is this a problem for anyone? It drives me nuts! I've not seen any
statements about this being fixed and it's NOT fixed in IBM i 7.1 either
(the document only refers to 5.4 and 6.1)
