RE: Logical file missing records

Hi Jeff,
Run DSPDBR (dsplay database relation) on the logical. Then search for
"Based on" in the output. It will show you the file and library of the
actual physical file.

It looks like that there are two files, one in the T37FILES library
and one in the R37FDO library and your pointing to the wrong one...

one member, but the number of index entries is less than the
number of records in the based on physical file member.

From what I understand, the logical file should have the

same number of index entries as the physical file has records
unless there are select/omit criteria specified.

I am at V6R1.

Any suggestions?
