I have a logical file that has no select/omit criteria, only one member, but the number of index entries is less than the number of records in the based on physical file member.
The logical file has the following attributes:

The based on physical has the following attributes:

Total number of members . . . . . . . . . : 1

From what I understand, the logical file should have the same number of index entries as the physical file has records unless there are select/omit criteria specified.

I am at V6R1.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
