Hello list,

I am getting ready to replace my 520 with a new E4A and I see that the
tapes are incompatible. The 520 has a 1/4" QIC tape while the new system
comes with a DAT drive. I have quite a few off-line backups stored on
QIC
tapes that I periodically need access to. Does anyone know of reliable
conversion services where I might be able to get these converted?

Or, is there an inexpensive third party QIC drive that might be an
option? If so, how does would it connect to the system?
