Hi all,
in the version 0.5.3 RPG Next Gen needs source files for editing RPG. It doesn't support editing or viewing stream files on the IFS. I just added a feature in the new released development snapshot 0.5.3.99 to browse the IFS and edit stream files. But the editing is without specific RPG support yet, though it will come in the near future as I am changing some internals in the editor which will allow me to use almost all the bells and whistles that the Eclipse framework has (which are really a lot of features).
So in the future you can edit source files and stream files with the Editor.
Offline Projects: Yes, you can import the files from the server into your workspace and view/edit them with the Editor. But there is no compilation support and supported way of bringing the source back to the server.
Regards
Mihael

Does RPGNextGen require editing from source files or does it work with
PC directories as well ?

Where is your effort? I would like to see what is going on. Not
knowing
anything about it, but assuming it would use Eclipse, have you
considered
adding it as a feature to the already established RPGNextGen.com editor?
