Hi All,

The password does not seem to be expired(as Chris asked me to check). The last sign on date is 22nd April in the profile.

Has this got anything to do with links? One of the users mentioned that the link was broken sometimes back.

Are links being created programatically? Will they affect the copying of files to IFS folder?

Need your advice here.

Regards
Sneha

Subject: Application/IFS issue

Hi,

There is an application thru which users download files to IFS specific folder (/CDA/CWXPF)on AS400.The users initiate the file transfer to AS400 thru a specific profile (whose initial program is *NONE and initial menu *SIGNOFF).

Lately users are complaining that the files are not being downloaded to IFS.They have asked me to check if this an issue with IFS

I have analysed the AS400 logs and all it shows is that the profile connects succesfully to AS400.Ther are no details of the file transfer.

Please can anyone suggest what are the steps from system administration point ,which I should follow to make sure that it is not an IFS issue?

Is this issue related to links.?Do the developers have to do  anything to fix this?
