Have multiple customers
Some with business dsl, some T1.
Nighttime ftp would work best & hopefully an auto restart capability.
Definitely to the System i, not pc or win server.
Should be able to get any cume, group, OS upgrade, with some method
of verifying we got all the pieces.
And an easy way to cleanup the download files after the update.

Subject: Electronic Software Delivery - Bandwidth Question

Hello List!

If your order for IBM i were to be available for electronic download:

1. what kind of connectivity do you have ( T1, broadband, .....)?
2. what download time would you expect to download the IBM i operating
system?
3. would you use ftp, download director, or either, to download?

(I know this question is redundant for some list participants, but feel
free to reply anyway) I'd like to see if I can make a table of
connectivity types versus time expectations.
