You need to upgrade these two systems to V5R4 at least. Which probably
means buying new hardware.

As an alternative, which i'm sure is what you're looking for, you can
also configure Windows to use insecure authentication mechanism
required by those two unsupported, legacy operating system versions.

Create a new GPO (or use a local GPO using gpedit.msc), then go to
Local Policies\Security Options\ and then change the LAN Manager
Authentication Level to Send LM & NTLM and use NTLM v2 if negotiated.
