You can tell the listener for the queue manager to listen on any port, we have one in the 65000 range. As far as sharing, I believe you can not share a port between 2 queue managers

I've created a couple of new queue's over the years but I have a question
egarding the ports used for the queue's. We have assigned ports 1417 thru and
ncluding 1435...are those the port designations that everyone else is using?
re these port numbers an IBM standard or recommendatin or do I, the customer,
imply pick a port that's not being used? Of course, our network folks were
nvolved too but noone knows how we arrived on ports 1417 - 1435.
Also, can several queue's share ports? Is that recommended practice?
