Yeah, that bummed me out. I was all excited about getting our new box
with the built-in LTO-4 so I could encrypt our backups. Got my bubble
burst pretty quickly on that one.

I guess if you only need 800gb (native) saved, it must not be worth
encrypting, huh? Jeesh....

From what I've read these "servers" could exist as virtual servers
somewhere.
We're still planning our LTO-3 to LTO-4 migration, so I can't say for
absolute sure how these new encryption key managers will be laid out.

I am guessing on this, the tape drive does not support the

you need a seperate server to handle that part of it??
