Not quite. You need at least a 3488 for more than 2 display sessions.

3477 gives you a choice of one display, one display with printer, or two displays, has no mouse support, and does not allow you to turn off column separators.

3487 gives you up to 2 displays WITH a printer, mouse support, and (on the color model) the ability to turn off column separators. I believe it also gives you some semigraphic characters, and non-space-consuming attributes, but except for drawing boxes around windows, practically nothing uses any of these capabilities.

3488 requires a separate monitor, but gives you up to 4 displays with a printer, mouse support, and the ability to turn off column separators.

3489 is like a 3487 with a graphics mode (that practically nothing actually uses).
