Beware of used boxes, especially when it comes to transferring software
licenses. Ask this of the person selling you the box.

I will have. It's from another park in our company and, surprise
surprise, still under maintenance. Has V5R3 but will get V5R4 and V6R1
ordered. Has all the WDS stuff. Not sure about the SQL kit yet.
Twinax console currently.
Haven't seen a rack config but the only thing I may need is a card for
our 3580 tape. Might need to see if our existing 2749 will work in it.
This all transpired in the last 1/2 hour or so and I don't have all the
info yet . Since both are at V5R3, my initial thought was to load our
libraries, user profiles, and a couple of third-party products on it and
then upgrade after the fact. It's a replacement for our Development
box.
Great link name provided. Pure Rob......
Thanks.

You have all the stuff you need for ADDLICKEY or WRKLICINF?
Does the 520 have the cards you need? If you plan on taking some stuff
out of your 270 is it compatible with the 520?
What kind of console?
Sounds like you'll have to be using some of these steps:
