If reusing deleted records, insert (write) performance could take a
minor hit while the OS finds the first/next "deleted record" to store
the record.

Another poster mentioned RRN access could be skewed, but that would
happen anyway when you reorg.

You cannot depend on DSPPFM somefile then B to bottom. RUNQRY *N
somefile may be similarly affected.

Note files defined by DDL (SQL) have reuse deleted turned on by default.

What are the issues involved in reusing deleted records? There must be
some otherwise it would be a default, I would think. And is it as easy
as just flipping the flag on the file?

The reason I ask is that we have a program that generates a lot of
deleted records - 75,000 per day. I could schedule a daily reorg on the
file but thought I'd get some guidance from this wonderful list first
