Here's what I use to start one of my app servers... This is embedded in
a JOBD object, and used with an autostart job entry from a controlling
subsystem.

SBMJOB CMD(CALL PGM(QWAS6/QWASSTRSVR) PARM('-profilePath'
'/QIBM/UserData/WebSphere/AppServer/V6/Base/profiles/ExpressDesk'
'-server' 'ExpressDesk')) JOB(EXPRESSDES) JOBD(QWAS6/QWASJOBD)
JOBQ(QWAS6/QWASJOBQ)

This job must be submitted as user QEJBSVR, which I specified in my JOBD
object.

Hth,
Eric DeLong

Never been able to figure that out myself. I cannot get our WAS to
Autostart at system startup.

Good luck.
