memory - but they might if they are using CGI and some heavy-duty
SQL.
Yes, CGI could use a lot of memory. But Duane indicated that their web services were running under WAS. Under that interface, the HTTP server is little more than a communication conduit between browsers and WAS, and for serving static content.
I suspect that moving HTTP to a subsystem with a large memory pool won't help performance, in that case. But it probably wouldn't hurt either.
