Get all the upgrade and PTFs on CD now, while still supported, at least
you will have them. (You probably can't get them later).
I would still try to get the upgrade done during support period. If you
pre-load the upgrades disks and PTF's as image catalogues, it goes pretty
quick.
I'm not sure the significance of the economy in your delay, We had a half
dozen folks come in on Sunday to test for a few hours when we did our
upgrade in November. If the concern is overtime, can you give them a comp
day (work Sunday, take next Friday off and have a 3 day weekend next
week-and they still have a 5 day work week)?
