JS12 startup progress - or lack thereof

Just a post for those who are following the status of my JS12:

I haven't called IBM yet because I am traveling this week and wouldn't have access to the HW if access was needed. The AMM is part of the internal network now so I can get to it remotely but if I had to change the HW config, I'd be stuck. I got an email from Vess Natchev this morning because I had sent him some feedback on his readme. Basically I said there was a need for a quick start guide for express editions that have everything already installed. He seemed to think that it *was* a simple process to start an express edition, so I emailed him my config and what the current issue was. We'll see if something pops from that. In any case, I need to wait until I am back in the office at home to go forward.

I noticed this morning that the SRC code on the blade itself (Service Tools--> Blade Service Data --> Link to the blade --> System Reference Codes) shows an SRC of AA00E1B0 which means "Waiting for the user to select the language and keyboard."

Is this coming from the i partition or VIOS? If it is the i, perhaps all I need to do is figure out what IP address the blade is using. If it is VIOS, I just need to figure out why I cannot connect to the VIOS layer on the blade.

In any case, as soon as I can, I'll either hear from Vess or call IBM and I'll post the resolution here.
