Chuck

I apparently was not clear - I meant the the presence of early release objects MIGHT imply that they once had the licensed product installed - and it seems it is present in more than 1. So it seems someone might have removed it or not installed it. Of course, it might have been installed for try&buy - but in 2 different releases? Hmmm!

A big maybe. I did not suggest that they could USE those. I know they have nothing to do with a current release. I'm sorry if that is what came across - not intended at all.

Vern

To reiterate, "The commands that exist in the *PRV release libraries
do not reflect what products are installed on the current release; the
list is static, as created and saved on to the LPP media" by IBM. What
commands exist in QSYSV#R#M# is not dynamic since which commands are in
those libraries is "not updated as current release products are removed
nor added." The commands that exist in every copy of the Previous
Release CL Compiler LPP\option remains constant, irrespective of what
entitlements might exist for any one system\partition where the
LPP\option is installed.

Since the commands are there from previous releases, seems to me that
you might have the license - see who has the proof-of-entitlement
stuff, check with a business partner. I know - there isn't time right
now, but eventually.
