The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
We still send messages to groups of people. SNDNETMSG. We also send
spool files but I can replace that with a TCP function. Has anyone
written an application to send text messages to a group of 5250 users?

It seems like you ought to be able to discontinue running the qsnads
subsystem. It's on my list of things to do when I can monitor to be
sure there are no adverse effects. Perhaps someone here could comment.
