I wasn't sure how many people were aware of this, and I thought it deserved
a post here on midrange-l, the voice of our community. As part of its
mission to foster development and growth of IT professionals who will manage
and support the computing systems of the future, the COMMON Education
Foundation offers four tuition reimbursement scholarships each year.
The tuition scholarships are for $1,000 each and are awarded each fall to
students at an accredited institution of higher education (two- or four-year
college or graduate program).

Applicants for these scholarships must be referred and sponsored by a COMMON
member. If you know of a college student who may be eligible for one of
these scholarships, send them to the COMMON Education Foundation's Web site

information, including the application form. The deadline of August 1st has
been extended. If you plan to sponsor a student, please let us know to watch
