We routinely do an IPL after a complete GO SAVE, 21. Entire system.
Therefore, having this command at the end
STRSBS SBSD(controlling-subsystem)
has no appeal to me.
I've noticed that there is option 20. Define save system and user data
defaults. However that does not have an option to turn off the STRSBS. If
this sounds like a dandy option to you please submit a DCR at:

Detailed description of the request (including unique usage)*
I often do an IPL of the system after doing a GO SAVE 21 to apply PTF's
and stuff. Therefore I do NOT want a STRSBS SBSD(controlling-subsystem)
at the end of GO SAVE 21. You have a dandy option called GO SAVE, 20.
Define save system and user data defaults. Simply add an option to not
start the controlling subsystem at the end to option 20.
