DOPORDM0 is a DDS physical. There are DDS logicals with Select/Omits.
So, I tried using a CTE, but still the same error, " Function not
supported for query"

Ron, a CTE won't help. The problem is that you are using the CQE (note the
"Q") which is the Classic Query Engine. It is the older engine and has less
functionality. The newer SQL Query Engine (SQE) has more features, but it
can't handle certain legacy database features such as select/omit. Because
you have such logicals, you need to use a workaround to force the SQE to
handle your query.

Please read the post I linked to earlier. Specifically, you need a QAQQINI
file:

"But there is a solution:
Copy the QAQQINI-File from the QSYS-Library into a library of your Choice
by using CRTDUPOBJ (or iSeries Navigator Database)
In the QAQQINI-File is an option IGNORE_DERIVED_INDEX that is set to *NO by
default.
That means all access paths (including those in DDS described logical files
with select/omit clauses) must be considered. In the copied version of this
file just set this option to *YES."

There are additional considerations, but if you use the QAQQINI file as
specified, it should be able to use the SQE and your syntax will work.
