Actually the browser isn't used at all in this framework idea, it is a
proprietary (read, built from the ground up) Java client that sits on the
PC. But what you are suggesting is also another possibility that I have
been toying with, though my Javascripting capabilities will need to increase
for me to make that work. Essentially you could write the "renderer" in
Javascript and have the events be passed back to the server for processing
(just like how AJAX works except you, potentially, wouldn't need to write
any of the Javascript because that would be included in the corresponding
AJAX "framework").
