Okee dokee. I really only did mean that you will never have to code a line
of Java if you use EGL, since that's always been the rub with JSP Model 2.
You may WANT to for various reasons, but you will never have to.

If it seemed that I was saying that EGL is the Vulcan mind meld of
programming, providing instant results with no coding effort, then be
assured that I didn't mean it. What I will say, though, is that it's as
powerful for the web as SDA is for the green screen, and that's really all
we're looking for, isn't it?

Anyway, glad we got over that hurdle. I'll be interested to see what you're
working on for your UI project. The idea of small snatches of XML floating
back and forth between the browser and the server is an interesting one,
although if I were you I'd keep my eyes out for the 7.1 release of EGL.
